Faultline Brief Editorial Desk

The Faultline Brief Editorial Desk is the organizational byline for reporting and analysis published by Faultline Brief, an independent English-language digital publication covering geopolitics, conflict and security.

What the byline means

An Editorial Desk byline identifies work published under the publication's editorial responsibility. It does not imply that an individual reporter was physically present at an event or conducted original interviews. Where an article relies on statements, official documents or reporting by other organizations, those sources should be attributed in the article.

Our approach

We focus on factual chronology, competing claims, strategic context and the consequences of international events. Analysis and predictions should be clearly distinguished from established facts. Our Editorial Standards & Corrections explain our verification, conflict-reporting and corrections principles.

Corrections and accountability

Readers can request a correction, provide evidence or ask about a source by emailing editorial@faultlinebrief.com. Please include the article link and the specific statement in question.
